Arizona explanation for smoking
In Mohave County it was planed to arrange a public presentation on new introduction about smoking ban. This presentation will go under patronage of Mohave County Environmental Health Division that will hold two public meetings to answer concerns regarding the Smoke-Free Arizona Act.
First presentation will hold on Thursday and will begin at 10 a.m. at the Mohave County Library, 1770 N. McCulloch Boulevard in Lake Havasu City. The second one be on Friday and will start earlier, at 9 a.m., at the Board of Supervisors meeting hall, Mohave County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St. in Kingman.
Environmental Health Sup. Jeremy Stutler, said that meeting will last at least one hour, it depend on questions that will ask participants. Also, he added:” We will clarify the rules regarding smoking restrictions in public places and enforcement for business owners and managers and residents. The public is welcome. This will be a PowerPoint presentation with questions allowed during and after.”
It is good idea to organize such public meetings, where will be explained in more details the elaborated rules. It is hard to work with something when it isn’t clear at its beginning. And speaking about introducing of new smoking ban, it is related to lost of thousands of dollars that bar owners suffered from launched cigarette’ usage restriction.
As Jeremy Suttler stated, every person can give questions, also will be explained new law and permitted exemptions.
He also had offered some clarification of partial tobacco usage in public places as theatres, hotels and motels, tobacco stores. From affirmations of Environmental Health Sup smoking are allowed in theatrical production where lightening up is written in the script. It is partial allowed in hotels and motels. Rule that such residences must obey is presence of at least 50 percent of their rentable rooms to be designated for non-smoking people. It is totally forbidden lightening of any smoking products in tobacco stores.
