Ingenious ways to skip the ban
Prohibition smoking of tobacco products is a meticulously established policy with fine plan, regulations and fines. Though, patrons of some bars seem to be more ingenious than those rules.
As according to law, smoking in stage is still allowed, patrons of bars decided to transform their locales into small theatres and their visitors in actors. Entrance is called “Stage entry” and callers wore theatrical costumes.
Even it sounds ridiculous and comical this is a reverse response to the ban. It is known that numerous bars and restaurants have faced shocking damages because number of attendees has reduced.
The theatrical bars become residential place for many smokers. Moreover, attendance of this kind of artistic points becomes more interesting and funny.
Patrons decided to call this night production “Before Ban.” In Minnesota there are about 30 bars of this kind.
Brian Bauman, now the owner of a theatrical bar, said that ban affected its business, but theatrical is a new shot for his business to restore.
Many bar owners said they plan to continue putting on theater nights. Though, The Health Department has already decided to bring to an end this stage smoking and theatrical bars can face a fine of $10,000 for their ingenuity.
