Everybody already knows about new restriction of smoking in public places. This new anti-cigarettes trend was introduced to a big part of countries of the United Nation World.

Speaking about the cigarette prohibition in United States it can be observed interesting reactions from tobacco users.

In every American states smoking ban come about different. There are states there were registered positive changes. For example, Hawaii gets an ’A’ among states for tobacco prevention, respectful grade also get Alaska region.

What about Colorado State, it doesn’t show very impressive results. It cannot be added to the list where smoking ban succeeded, yet. This fact can be observed studying the tobacco market of the state. The sales of cigarette products in the first 11 mouths grow up approximately with 9.5 %. It is a significant number because the sales increase after there were included the cigarette’ smoking prohibition. If speaking in the language of numbers it is around 4.6 billion cigarettes that were putted on the tobacco market from January to November.

The Canadians like the cigs’ smoking, especially then it became a paid pleasure.

The administration tried to fight with sky-scraping tobacco-use by increasing taxes on cigarettes with 22%.

Of course, this action gives some results and the sales of tobacco products become lower. The taxes that were collected in the first 11 months for the cigarettes were 212 million dollars. But, as Heidi Craig, statistic analyst of the Colorado Department of Revenue says “It was a slow start with the new taxes on cigarette products, but is going back to the “normal” again”.

So, it happened. In September the sale of the tobacco products again increased and this situation last since November. This disallowed of smoking tobacco makes the cigarettes more desirable.

The cigarette ban forbids the smoking in bars, restaurants and most public places. This goes to the closing of already 20 Colorado bars where the smoking of cigarettes was allowed.

The sales’ rate of tobacco products differs, but the Colorado government authorities hope that with time the smoking prohibition will show positive results.

But for the office’ smokers the smoking of cigarettes are still an important constituent of the working day: “…only smoking of cigarettes helps them to get out from office!”
