Philip Morris awarded its smokers with a new Marlboro brand
As is know Philip Morris is biggest tobacco magnate on international tobacco industry. Its famous brands as: Marlboro, Virginia Slims, Benson & Hedges, Merit, Parliament, Alpine, Basic, Cambridge, Bristol, Bucks, Chesterfield, Collector’s Choice, Commander, English Ovals, Lark, L&M, Players and Saratoga wins largest areas in entire world. It also is proprietor of many filial that are spread in biggest states, where produce smoking products of same premium quality.
Philip Morris is millionaire tobacco business that in 2006 occupies 15, 4 % of international market, excluding USA, gained 8, 1milliard dollar and manufactured 831 mil cigarettes.
Now Philip Morris introduced novelty on its Russian and Ukrainian fabrics. New variety of famous Marlboro brand Marlboro Filter Plus will contain low tar. For new tobacco product were invested around $1.15 mil dollars. Factory will be equipped with new technologies that will make new filters and cigarettes. P. Morris expects that all investment will show positive results.
At the end of May new Marlboro Filter Plus will be imported on Ukrainian cigarette market and in June they will appear in sale.
Russian “Philip Morris” factory is one of largest from this region. In 2000 it opened its doors and now it produce 700 mil per year.
Ukrainian filial is located in Harikov city that now produce more then 165 mill cigarettes in one year. According to a national investigation, cigarette products on “Philip Morris Ukraine” occupy 33% of domestic market.
So, only thing that can be done by Marlboro smokers is to wait. Appearance of new Marlboro brand, Marlboro Filter Plus, for sure will register high demand by big number of cigarette users from Eastern Europe.
