All above mentioned organizations will gain together on Sunday, said Zhang Junru, the representative of Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Olympic Games have provoked big changes for Beijing. For example, it will be prohibited to sell tobacco products in all venues, and training and accommodation areas.
Also, a set of regulations was established, currently open to public submissions, banning smoking at Olympic venues, athletes’ accommodation areas, and within vehicles designated to serve the event.
Although, laws related to the restriction of tobacco usage will be hard to implement, because according to a survey conducted by Horizon Research Consultancy Group, almost half of the male population are cigarette addicts. The survey showed that every smoker in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan used an average of 17 cigarettes every day. Can you imagine their reaction?
Poor cab drivers!
